"Jesus says the Father has set His seal on Him. As the Father sets His seal on Jesus, so Jesus sets His seal on us on the sacrament of baptism, and later, in the sacrament of confirmation."
John 6:27
Confirmation is the final Sacrament of Initiation where students (typically in Grade 8) receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit from the Bishop. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic Faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation.
Students who have gone through the Faith Formation program are eligible with the proper instruction and preparation.
The Ordinary Minister of Confirmation is the Bishop. The Bishop can delegate a priest to administer the Sacrament as well.
